JEE Main 2027 Session 2 Exam Schedule

NTA says Session 2 will be held in April 2027, but the public notice does not list exact exam days. Candidates will get a separate chance to apply for Session 2, using the same application number if they applied for Session 1. A notification for that window will follow, and the Information Bulletin carries a tentative application schedule for it.

You do not have to sit both sessions. The notice says candidates can apply for Session 1 only and pay the fee accordingly. If you plan to take only Session 2, you can register later, when its form goes live.

JEE Main 2027 Registration Dates and Important Details

Four rules from the notice are easy to miss:

  • One application only. NTA says strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against candidates who submit more than one form.
  • Online mode only. Applications through any other route will not be accepted.
  • Use your own contact details. The email address and mobile number must belong to you or your parents or guardians, because NTA sends all communication there.
  • Follow the bulletin. Candidates who do not comply with the instructions in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website can be disqualified.

Fee payment works through credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI. If you face trouble while applying, call 011-40759000 or 011-69227700, or write to jeemain@nta.ac.in.

How to Check the JEE Main 2027 Exam Date on the Official Website

  1. Open the official JEE Main portal.

  3. Read the dated public notice, or open the Information Bulletin from the Information menu for full details on papers, scheme, timing and eligibility.
  4. For wider exam updates, visit the National Testing Agency website.

What Should JEE Aspirants Do Next?

About 12 weeks remain before the first paper. A few practical moves can help:

  • Apply this week, not on 22 November. Keep your documents ready so you have time to fix any errors, and use the correction window only if you must.
  • Reset your mock-test calendar. Plan your full-length tests so the last one falls a few days before 20 January. Practise the 20 MCQ + 5 numerical split and the negative marking.
  • Protect your routine. If distractions are slowing you down, these focus and study-routine tips are written for exam aspirants and work for JEE too.
